As we all try to figure out this #stillhome business, we’re turning to those who seem to be pretty good at this thing called life in the hope of finding some #isoinspo. On our list today: Christopher Keven AU. Known to Instagram as @24karatkev, this editor / producer / artist manager / legend we asked him for the As to all the Qs we have RN. Turns out, daytime TV isn’t that bad, you should be having your rice with an egg (always), and you don’t even need to curate a Spotify playlist …. ‘Cause he’s done one for you. You’re welcome and enjoy.
Who do you look up to?
"Kurt Angle, Tinashe and my good friend Peter Hayes, I learn from his mistakes everyday. He also has a great wardrobe and he just might be the most stylish man in Sydney."
How are you feeling right now?
“To be honest, I'm good! It's a manic and confusing time, but grateful to still have some have work flowing in, and to live in Australia where we seem to be doing pretty okay in comparison to other places in the world.
What are you listening to in #iso?
“Triple One and Nerve; run those streams up because we can't play gigs for the next few months (please) and also Posseshot and Milan Ring, anything down-tempo and/or sad is usually good when you're stuck at home. Instrumentals and electronic tunes are also solid. DJ Shadow, Burial and Blue Sky Black Death if you don't feel like listening to heaps of words.”

What's been the biggest surprise about all this home time?
“Daytime television is actually not that bad. When we're being flooded with so much stressful news about the pandemic, it helps to watch something that doesn't require too much concentration or brain power. I would suggest WWE Smackdown, classic NRL grand final replays and Masterchef as good starting points.”
Your top 3 #iso hacks?
“First, don't try and work off your laptop in bed, you're going to start napping. Try using a table or another solid horizontal base.
“Next, wear comfortable clothes that aren't your pyjamas. If you wear pyjamas, you're going to start napping.
“Put an egg in your rice.”

What are you most looking forward to?
“Seeing my friends and eating a large snow crab and steamed barramundi at Golden Century.”
What, in your opinion, makes a good playlist a great one?
“Lots of Australian artists, heaps of them. We have world-class talent here in our own backyard, and Australian artists need as much help as they can get. We can't buy tickets to gigs or festivals right now... but run those streams up, put local artists in your playlists, tell your friends about them, play their tracks in your Instagram stories. Every little bit helps!”
