The Throwback Trend We’re Seeing Everywhere (And Want In On)

We still can’t shake that 70s feeling. With The Stones on repeat, we’re channelling oversized collars, heritage checks and, best of all, retro stripes. 

They’re the uniform worn by Winnie in The Wonder Years, The Brady Bunch (all 6 of them), and more recently, the retro-throwback that was Netflix’s Sex Education. 

When it comes to choosing your stripes, it’s a case of the brighter the colours, the better. Think strong primaries and dashes of neon brights. A technicolour dream, yes. A psychedelic adventure, sure. And, definitely, groovy, baby. Keep them in a simple shirt, or go full throwback with a turtleneck.
