Festival dressing has become as much a competition for Instagram likes as it has an exercise in actually getting dressed practically for a concert in recent years. Inspired by the way celebrities descend on Coachella each year, festivals like Splendour In The Grass and Falls Festival are now carefully planned fashion parades and for some, are as much about the outfits as they are the music.
All of this makes showing out in such an environment a pretty tough task. Some guys opt for full fancy dress, only to regret it soon after. Others lean a little too far into the festival spirit, opting for little more than a pair of short shorts and obnoxious sunglasses.
