How has the pandemic changed your beauty routine?

I have always been diligent with my full beauty routine, however, I have been much more focused on using ingredients such as vitamin C and vitamin A daily for their anti-aging and brightening benefits, and I have seen incredible results.

Do you have any lockdown beauty horror stories?

Only when I attempted to dye my own hair and my roots came out bright yellow!

What’s your quick Zoom-ready makeup routine?

To face the computer I create an even canvas with half a drop of Even Better Clinical Foundation SPF 20, I wake up my eyes with four coats of Clinique Lash Power Mascara, define my lips with Quickliner for Lips Intense in a natural colour that enhances my own lip colour. Then it’s all about enhancing those facial angles with the Chubby Stick Sculpting Contour.

What are your top three tips for how to go back to the office in style?

Polished skin and hair are always on-trend, so even if you don’t have a lot of time in the morning, make sure you have your go-to’s ready when it comes to hair and skincare. Commit to your daily skincare routine of cleansing, liquid exfoliation and then heaps of moisture for the skin. If you are oily, find a lightweight gel textured, oil-free formula that will also prep your skin for foundation, such as Moisture Surge 100H Auto-Replenishing Hydrator. Never forget to end with sunscreen. 

Even if you are not a fan of foundation, remember that makeup loves makeup, so anything else you wear such as lipstick and blush, will show up so much better and wear longer if applied over a thin layer of foundation. Your complexion will look more even and polished too. Wake up the eyes with a lick of eye cream and a few layers of mascara and pop on a lip balm or a bold lip if you are more daring.

What was the first beauty treatment you booked after lockdown? 

I still haven’t made a booking, I only went for a massage!

How has your skincare routine changed since working from home?

With working from home, I have adopted a more fragmented routine.
