One of 2022’s hottest trends is still going strong, and tbh we’re not mad about it. From jeans and a nice top to subverting a relaxed suit, the corset top has quickly become one of the hardest-working pieces in our wardrobes. Want to make it feel fresh? Team a corset dress with a trench and tall boots for a transeasonal night-out vibe, or a corset-inspired knit top with denim for a cosier take on the trend.

When the Ton gathers, they go all out. And while the reasons behind such grandiose events are a little (*ahem*, a lot) antiquated, they still serve some epic occasion dressing inspo. Channel Regencycore at your next event with formal dresses in rich brocades, puff sleeves, empire waists and opera gloves. If all that feels a little too femme, pair a blazer dress with kitten heels for a refined yet razor-sharp evening look. 

Carrying the Regency aesthetic into cooler temps just got a whole lot easier. If you’re feeling fancy, a cape or bolero brings major Bridgerton energy to even the simplest of outfits (skip the embellishments, and go faux fur for extra warmth). A demure wool coat in camel, cream or black is a wardrobe investment you’ll reach for season after season, and brings an air of quiet luxury to any outerwear lineup. 

Minimalism? Never heard of her. A few decadent accessories can take any outfit into Regencycore territory. Think pearl jewellery (a Princess Diana style staple); a jewelled headband or fascinator; a beaded bag; and bows on anything – and everything. BYO horse and gilded carriage, though.
