What’s On Your Post-ISO Bucket List? 

“I can’t choose! Here are two things I’ll be doing ASAP. Firstly, I have three friends (yes, not just one… but THREE) who have recently had babies who I’ve only met via zoom. I would love to meet them and give them real-life cuddles. Secondly, I am craaaving sushi. Once bookings are open for Sokyo’s sushi omakase my name will be on The List. That and Sushi Shinsengumi who my friend has called 70+ times in one sitting to make a booking (to no avail, thanks for asking). They only take bookings once a month and the restaurant only sits 12 people. It’s their mind-boggling selection that makes the spam calls worth it.”

"The minute we get out of #iso I'm going to round up the girls and double celebrate every one of the birthdays we've missed. I'll wear this dress because, why the heck not – I've had no occasion to wear a dress for a month now (hasn't stopped me), and with a name like that maybe I'll break some cowboy hearts while I'm at it. It needs dancing shoes, obviously.”

“Post-ISO, the first thing I’ll plan is to have cocktails with the girls – preferably by the water. I’m channeling Hugos Manly vibes and will be dressed in a fun mini paired with classic heels.”

“The first thing I’ll be doing when everything is over? A big BBQ with family and friends! And yes, it will be my excuse to wear anything BUT gym gear or trackies. I’d pair high-waisted jeans with a column cami and top it off with an oversized wool coat. On foot, I’d opt for understated sandals.”

“Live music, dancing plus beers in the sun with loved ones are my only plans when this is finally behind us. The last couple of festivals I had tickets to were cancelled due to either the bushfires or this pandemic. So I’ll just skip to any open-air event with music and good vibes to bask in the glory of sweet freedom.”

“I’m mentally checking out with the short Mudgee getaway I suggested to my partner earlier this week. I predict it will be packed with cellar-door visits and food sampling from local providores. I’d schlep around in loafers, black jeans (keyword: black. Prone to spills? Very much so) and a cut-out skivvy. He would probably turn up colour-coordinated as we have an uncanny knack for doing so. We are unfortunately that couple.
