Miss team sports? Us too. So, we checked in Melbourne Vixens Captain Kate Moloney to see her can’t-live-withouts.

What do you miss most about netball training with the Vixens?
“What I miss most is training with my Vixens team mates everyday. I love that I get to play a team sport and train with some of my good friends”

What’s one good thing iso has taught you about yourself?
“I think iso has taught me to slow down and appreciate the small things. I have also learnt that I am not bad at baking and doing puzzles!”

What are the three things you're doing to keep your fitness up during this time?
“I have been lucky enough to still have a daily training program with the Vixens including home gym and conditioning sessions while still continuing to do more netball-specific exercise like footwork and ball skills. I have also enjoyed having more time to include yoga into my daily training.”

What’s an absolute essential in your workout kit?
“Runners! I love my runners and I can be really fussy. (I also have way too many pairs!) At the moment I absolutely love the Puma Speed 600 for all my running sessions.”

What did you notice about your fitness when you started playing netball?
“Netball is great for your fitness. The thing I love about it is that you get to keep fit while having fun. The stop-start nature of the game can be great interval training, added with the physicality can really add to your strength.”
