Brandon Ng is arguably THE ICONIC’s most active staffer, and a Creative Photographer. When Brandon’s not shooting on location or in studio, he can be found training so he needs his watch to stand up to a variety of different conditions and have intuitive features. We strapped a Garmin Instinct watch to him and this is what he found…
“During workouts it helped me keep track of my intensity level and high intensity means calories burnt. Knowing it’s tracking you makes you go that bit harder to get that sweat on, and not waste your pre workout!”

“The timer feature allows me to keep track of sets and rests, making sure I'm maintaining my intensity level especially if I'm supersetting.”

“Garmin say that this rugged style is ‘built to military specs’. It’s thermal, shock and water resistant so I never had to worry about damage, wherever I was working out or shooting. It also means you can really sweat and not think twice about it.”

“Can I see my messages on here? Because that would be good when I’m shooting and don’t have access to my phone.”

“When I’m in studio, I’m on my feet and on the go for hours at a time. It’s handy to have everything on your wrist, and with up to 14 days between charges I don’t have to think about battery life for weeks at a time.”

“There is never a day where I don’t meet my 10,000 minimum steps but I want to know exactly how many I’m doing, and having it on my watch is the easiest way to track them, plus I can view it easily on my wrist rather than checking my phone where it's not as accurate.”
