5 Emmy Nominated Shows We’re (Re)Watching Before September

What’s on your must-watch list?

In case you don’t have plans to leave the comfort of your couch, the 2020 Emmy nominations were announced earlier this week and boy did the list remind us of some good shows worth watching (or even rewatching). Here’s what we’ve got our eyes glued on this weekend, don’t @ us.

1. Schitt’s Creek – nominated for best comedy with additional nominations for Catherine O’Hara (best actress, comedy), Eugene Levy (best actor, comedy), Annie Murphy (supporting actress, comedy) Dan Levy (supporting actor, comedy, writing for a comedy series AND directing for a comedy series).

2. Normal People – ok, we’re a little bit just rewatching Paul Mescal and his chain (nominee for best actor, limited series or TV movie), but also for Sally Rooney and Alice Birch’s storytelling (nominees for writing for a limited series, movie or drama special), and Lenny Abrahamson (nominee for directing for a limited series).

3. Euphoria – worth watching because Zendaya truly is a standout (nominated for best actress, drama) but also it’s an excellent source for beauty inspiration.

4. Killing Eve – nominated for best drama with additional nominations for style icon Jodie Comer (nominee for best actress, drama), Sandra Oh (also best actress, drama) and Fiona Shaw (supporting actress, Drama).

5. Dead to Me – nominated for best comedy with additional nominations for Christina Applegate and Linda Cardellini (both in the running for best actress, comedy).
