5 Thoughts We Had While Watching Xanadu On BINGE

We went to a place where nobody dared to go – the Surprise Me! section on BINGE – and let serendipity take control.

In case you’re unfamiliar with Australia’s newest streaming service BINGE, it’s the place to go to watch all your favourite shows, like Game of Thrones, Big Little Lies, Atlanta, Euphoria, Keeping Up With The Kardashians and so much more. We know what some of you are probably thinking, you’ve seen all these and you’re looking for something different to veg out to all weekend-long, and that’s where BINGE truly delivers. There’s nifty little features like 'BingeLists' curated by your favourite actors, and our personal favourite, the 'Surprise Me!' section, which takes the guesswork out of what to watch.

We tried it for ourselves and got served Xanadu, the 80s roller skating disco fantasy musical featuring Australia's very own Olivia Newton John. It’s not exactly a movie that would naturally be on our must-watch list, but now that we’ve binged it, it’s actually a perfect fit. Here are 5 thoughts we had while watching that now have us inspired.

1. This movie is such a trip! The storyline, the cinematography and effects are just wild.

2. Forget walking, we want to skate everywhere now and we’re pretty sure we’re not alone here – it's taken off on TikTok and destined to be the next big trend.
