With Instagram feeds overflowing due to a swell of Europe ‘22 content and a very real sense of FOMO setting in, we cast our attention to a toasty trip of our own. One that’s a little closer to home. It’s not exactly a beachy, island hop or a European cultural immersion, but there is plenty to like about the unique blend of action and relaxation afforded by a trip down to the snow. As always, one of our favourite parts about planning a getaway is planning the ‘fits, so without further ado, let’s get into our snow gear essentials.

First things first, a puffer jacket, down jacket or some kind of heavy outerwear option is a must-have. For us, The North Face Nuptse is undefeated when it comes to all-weather winter wear. Em Rata, Kanye, Kendall and plenty more of fashion’s frontrunners are on the same page, turning to the classic style season after season. While the all black is an obvious style staple, we’re also all over this year’s colour-soaked seasonal offerings, like the adventurous Apricot Orange, calming Tea Green, and the icy Beta Blue cropped version of the iconic Nuptse silhouette.
