When Irina Shayk walked out of the home she shared with Bradley Cooper, her high-utility moving look was a lesson in break up dressing.

Just like that, what was already an absolute game-changer to our off-duty swag, the humble boiler suit was revived as our modern-day wardrobe hero.

We use the word ‘revived’ as this is not the first time the multi-tasking jumpsuit has been at the forefront. Flash back to the WWII poster featuring Rosie the Riveter, sporting a denim boiler rolled up at the elbows flexing her muscle with the headline ‘We Can Do It’. Designed to uplift the spirits of the women back home holding down the fort, working in factories and supporting their men off at war. When we started spotting this workwear on the street in the last 12 months, it had the air of woman-on-a-mission all over again. And this time, it’s on our terms.
