Bec + Bridge make the kind of dresses that call for dancing. Even if it’s just in your kitchen, and maybe your hallway and most definitely your lounge room RN. So, it made sense for us to ask them for a playlist to groove to.
In good news, they did. They call it Disco, Disco and it’s inspired by Oracle, their Winter 20 collection, it’s all about the good times and great hits, a 29-track “homage to the 80s”.
“The vibe is fun and playful like the collection,” the women behind the brand – Becky Cooper and Bridget Yorston – tell us. The pair met a decade ago (time flies, right?), and their new collection is our new want-to-have.
“We designed this collection with a strong, empowered woman in mind which flows throughout this playlist.”

Take a through a couple of your favourites on the list - why did they make the grade?
“Only You by Steve Monite, is a really cool disco classic, and Yes Sir I Can Boogie by Baccara … Honestly, if this doesn’t take you to an 80s dance floor we are not sure what will! It's a surefire way to get you on your feet.”
Tell us a little about your #iso situation?
“We both have young families, so we have been spending our time juggling home-schooling and working from home, which is a challenge however it’s all about sticking to a routine and balance.”
What do you miss most about pre-iso life?
“Where, do we start? LOL.”
And what are you most looking forward to when this is all over?
“Being with all of our friends and extended families and getting back into the office with our team.”
Tell us a little about this collection - what were you listening to / thinking about / vibing on?
“The Winter 20 collection, Oracle is inspired by a time when women’s movements brought about major changes in the lives of women who fought for their rights and equality.
“The impact of this movement is the essence of the collection and how it has shaped women today. The power, courage and strength of women through this era has drawn parallels to the core of the Bec + Bridge girl – being strong, empowered and having freedom of choice.
“Fabrications and silhouettes pay homage to the 80s, with bold shoulder pads, balloon sleeves, micro minis, crisp shirting and boxy blazers being this season’s key statement look. A mixture of prints from ocelot, tweed, check and polka dots to a bouquet of florals printed on cottons, woven jacquards and mesh and silks.
“We see Winter as a season to outfit, create and mix pieces to suit your mood with playful styling of day time drills and night tops, or layer with our super chic + cosy knits.
“ORACLE hopes to empower women, to be confident in who they are and the freedom to express who she wants to be.”
