2. An unchanged pillowcase can harbor more bacteria than you can imagine.
Think as much bacteria that’s found in a dog’s bowl, the sole of your shoe or even a toilet seat! Because when you sleep, you shed thousands of dead skin cells and produce skin oils, not to mention sweat and salivate, so this bacteria build up on your pillows can often be a culprit for acne, skin irritation and other issues. Consider changing your pillowcase weekly (or as often as possible) particularly if you suffer from problem skin.

3. Your neck, eyes and lips age 20 times faster than any other areas of skin.
The tissue in these areas are extremely thin and therefore more prone to water loss, UVA/UVB damage and other environmental factors. Aging is a natural part of life and genes can play a large part of the aging process, but it helps to pay particular care to these areas as a preventative measure. 

4. SPF is extremely important for your lips.
While the thought of applying sunscreen to your lips sounds strange, your kissers are incredibly delicate and are just as prone to sun damage as your skin so we highly recommend investing in a lip care product with SPF30+. And remember, sunscreen is for every day, not just the sunny ones. 

5. Chemical exfoliants can help prevent ingrown hairs.
Using a gentle chemical exfoliant, like salicylic acid, lactic acid and glycolic acid, can help lift dead skin cells that can cause bumps and ingrown hairs – just be cautious when using any chemical exfoliant and ensure you’re always applying SPF.
