Lockdown restrictions may have eased a lot since the start of the year, however if you still don’t feel like leaving the comfort of your lounge room, for whatever reason, here is an epic list of films featuring birthday gal Zoe Saldana to keep you well and truly entertained all weekend long. Often playing the fiery leading female role, you’re guaranteed to feel inspired to do just about anything, after hours of binging of course! Here are some of our favourites.

Guardians Of The Galaxy 1 & 2 – Gamora is the “most dangerous woman in the whole galaxy”, she makes green look good, and if aliens fighting isn’t really your thing, the soundtracks featured in both are entertaining in itself.

Avengers, Infinity War & Endgame – because it would almost be wrong to watch Guardians Of The Galaxy without following it up with an Avengers marathon…

Avatar – if you liked her as a green alien, you’ll probably like her as a blue one too. Starring alongside our own Sam Worthington, this movie is a must-watch, especially for the visual effects.

Centre Stage – she doesn’t play a lead role and she’s not a trained ballerina like the majority of the cast, yet she’s still an unforgettable character in this dance movie, which btw recently celebrated its 20th anniversary! Feel old yet? We do. Her style, her quick wit and her refusal to conform is everything.

Crossroads – the movie didn’t exactly get the best reviews from critics, but she plays one of Britney Spears’ best friends, the tunes were the best for their time, and it’s an excellent source for early 2000s style so what’s not to love about it?
