How do you update your skincare routine during the winter months?
My skin gets quite dull, dry and sensitive in winter. For these reasons, I like to exfoliate once a week, and use a hydrating serum as well as a nourishing moisturiser and a vitamin C serum weekly.

What are your favourite winter skin products?
I have a few, but some cult favourites are the Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair serum and the Pure Colour Envy Nighttime Rescue Lip Oil-Serum.

How does your skin react to the cooler temperature?
I have quite an oily t-zone so this remains the same. However, the other parts of my face can get quite dry. My skin also gets really sensitive in the cooler months.

What’s your biggest tip for applying makeup to dry, flaky skin?
Depending on how dry and flaky my skin is, I’ll use a light exfoliator to remove the excess skin. I’ll then go in with a hydrating serum, apply a moisturiser and then use a hydrating primer. I’ll also opt for cream makeup products that have some sort of skincare element and won’t go as heavy with powder.

Do you have a favourite winter skin treatment?

What are your current everyday makeup faves?
I start off with a primer, this is great if you have oily skin. For blush, I’ve been loving a cream blush in dusty pink. For my eyes I create a super subtle wing on the corner with a dark brown eye pencil, I smudge this out with an angled brush. I always curl my lashes and then apply black mascara.

Any other winter beauty tips you swear by?
A beauty tip I swear by, which I know is boring for some but — drink your water! I can always tell a difference in my skin when I’m dehydrated. I like to add a teaspoon of chlorophyll to my morning water and have found that really helps with my skin during the cooler months.
