3. Fancy getting hitched on The Strip? You’re not alone, more than 100,000 weddings happen in Las Vegas every year. That’s around 300 a day!
4. Although bouquets are a chance to add some colour to a Bride’s outfit, they actually have their origins in Ancient Rome when brides carried a bouquet of herbs, such as garlic and rosemary, symbolising fertility and fidelity.
5. Around 6000 couples married in the 12 months after same-sex marriage was legalised in Australia. The State with the most was New South Wales with over 2000 weddings!
