We’re officially living in the era of bleached brows. Everyone from Kendall and Kylie Jenner to Bella Hadid have lightened their arches, proving that the beauty trend isn’t going anywhere any time soon.

While it’s not that tricky to copy (all you need is some bleach and a TikTok tutorial), it does require constant upkeep. But the good news is that you can achieve a similar finish with a few makeup hacks, zero commitment required.

Make Friends With Concealer

PSA: Some of the bleached brow looks you’ve seen on the runway this season are actually the effects of concealer. The key is to choose a creamy colour that’s lighter than your brows but not too far off your skin tone – that way, the final product will be more believable.

Spread it across the brow area and use a spoolie to distribute it through. You should wind up with brow hairs that are soft, chalky and pale.

You can also use this technique to reduce your brow’s thickness (think Christina Aguilera, Stripped era). Just apply the concealer to the bottom half of your arch instead.

Lighten Up Your Brow Products

Chasing a more subtle effect? Swap out your regular brow products for those a few shades lighter. The only consideration to make is sticking to the same undertone. For example, if your brows are cool-toned, don’t pick up a warm blonde pencil and vice versa. This trick works for pomades, pencils, crayons and tinted gel formulas.
