With one hell of a smile, the former microbiology student and all-American sweetheart tried her luck in Hollywood and came good. She married the Six Million Dollar Man, inspired The Midnight Train To Georgia and found herself nominated for both Emmys and Golden Globes.
Her style, though, is something we’ll be chasing for years to come. She was Californian-cool. Flares and crew-neck t-shirts, oversized blazers, and plenty of slinky silk the way the 70s showed us how it was done. We want in.
