Staying safe at home, part two… What’s the most inventive way you’re keeping busy this time around?
“This time around we’re being more intentional about getting out of the house when we can (within our state restrictions). Going for our daily walk has put us in a great routine to get home ready to create content, whether that be TikToks or at-home studio shots.”
What does a typical day look like at home at the moment?
“At the moment we’re walking every morning then we have 3-4 personal training sessions a week with Marissa’s hubby. All that accompanied by cuddling our kittens, strategising for content work and filming and editing images for Instagram and videos for TikTok.”

Fave at home snack?
“Hmm…. definitely the DSP (donut snack pack) we can get from a local pizza shop on UberEats. They literally put whatever topping you want melted on top – our fave is Kinder Surprise! YUM.”

What have you learnt about yourselves this crazy year?
“That we are resilient and strong! Our business has been impacted significantly and more than we could ever expect since the very first day ‘restrictions’ were put in place wayyy back in March. We’ve had to learn to be more flexible, more agile and more patient than ever before.”
Do you dress up for anything at the moment? Zoom calls with friends… Virtual meetings?
“Dressing up is only done for filming content for our @twiceblessed_ platforms. BUT we still love throwing on a ribbed tank, blazer, a tonne of gold jewellery and a killer pair of heels!”

What’s your go-to casual wear?
“At the moment it has to be sweatpants and a hoodie. Nothing better than a matching sweatpant set. Even though you may be ‘dressed down’ in your casuals, you still feel put together because it matches.”
How do you style yours?
“Tuck the hoodie into the band of the sweatpants or into the base of your bra to make it cropped. Layer on gold jewellery, like earrings and a chunky necklace, add an oversized coat and sneakers and you’re good to go!”
