If you build it, they will come. Nike are diversifying their women's range with an interesting application of the Air Max 720 sole unit.
Known as the Air Max FF720, the upper is stripped back at the heel and forefoot with large cut-outs. Instead of a heel counter, an elastic strap reminiscent of the Huarache prevents slippage, working in conjunction with a short lace system to further tie down the foot if required. A closed toe box offers adequate protection and cleanliness. And below is the eponymous technology: a full-length visible Air sole for boundless cushioning.
Not a shoe for everyone, but credit to Nike for trying something different and thinking outside the box.
