Rocky Balboa wore them (and, hopefully, washed them), as did hard man Tony Soprano, The Royal Tenenbaums and the majority of Goodfellas. The tracksuit made a regular appearance, too, on 80s hip-hop videos. All the RAGE, it’s the sportswear trend of seasons past. While they might have fallen out of favour if only for a brief moment, they’re back – once again endorsed – from the rxunways this season. It’s leisurewear, but not as we know it.
This time, we’re going luxe. We’re talking top shelf. Fine fabrics and streamlined silhouettes. Sweats, terry and all other things soft-to-the-touch and a special kind of lightweight luxury no lined relegated to ‘around the house’ and millenial-themed parties (can they stop already?).
There’s something to be said for coordination. Sure, hand-eye is important when it comes to getting picked #1 for team sports, but same goes for the wardrobe department. Socks that match imply you’re capable of managing the inventory that is your life, and other coordinated separates further prove you have a firm grip on this adulting business. Once known as a leisure suit, we now know it as a resounding ‘yes please’. Dress like a #Boss.

Here’s a few of our picks (you’re welcome).
