Long Denim Shorts: Are They A Vibe?

A quick, work-related scroll through our new arrivals has us questioning...

While the northern hemisphere is just about done with their #hotgirlsummer, we’re only just getting started. So naturally, to welcome the warmer weather (and prep for the long weekend ahead) we took some time out to scroll our new arrivals for some fire ‘fits. Stopping us in our tracks however, were a pair of denim shorts that were unlike the Daisy Dukes we’re well accustomed to.

They’re longer in length, come with a kind of mom-jean attitude, and look like they have the potential to be dressed up with a pair of heels, but then again, could potentially add an unwanted fifty years to our style age.

As we do before we make any possibly controversial fashion investments, we shouted across our desk dividers, “long denim shorts – are they are vibe?”.

“Yeah, I’m all about the long-short,” said one co-worker, “Steph just bought a pair!” chimed another, to which she replied, “yeah, I bought the same pair as Ella!”

The general consensus: we’re into it.

After umming and aahing over it a little longer, we looked to Instagram for further proof that Bermuda-style denim shorts do in fact share the same style equivalence as dad sneakers, rather than the same level of cringe as dad jokes...

Is it an energy or what?
