Let’s Talk About Sexigans

“Cropped, fitted sexigans are the new t-shirt. Taking me back to noughties and nineties, you might catch me wearing one with my favourite slip skirt, flatform slides, and hoop earrings, just like I did back then.”

“I'm obsessed with this chunky cable knit design that looks like it could be pulled from my nan's wardrobe. I would wear this half-tucked into a pair of loose-fitting straight jeans or even long flares if I was feeling ultra retro. The v-neck means it can easily be thrown over a turtleneck in the colder months and layered with a couple of necklaces.” 

My sexigan of choice is draped insouciantly over my shoulders – elegant yet relaxed. Per my earlier qualm, I settled on intimates underneath as a low-maintenance option, plus P.E Nation performance tights (typical) and androgynous socks that don’t belong. And I’ll be responding to any raised eyebrows with “thanks G-ma, but it’s *supposed* to be like this”, whether they’re over 79 or not.
