Beloved ski and winterwear label Dinoski is taking a summer holiday with its just-launched essential swim line, Dinosea. Swapping snow for sand, slopes for surf and chalets for beach shacks, the debut SS21 Dinosea collection is a playful candy-coloured mix of kids swimmers, hats, hooded towels and more. The best bit? The kids’ swimwear is made using recycled plastic bottles, making it a more sustainable option for your family.

In the last three years, Dinoski has recycled almost 300,000 plastic bottles (that’s over 10 tonnes of plastic) into clothing. It’s all part of their mission to keep the great outdoors great. As well as utilising recycled materials, Dinoski also looks to faux furs, eco-friendly dyes and biodegradable packaging as the brand continues to search for more sustainable alternatives and keep creating great apparel for kids. That also means extending the product’s lifecycle by finding solutions for pre-loved pieces once little ones have grown up and out of their favourite Dinoski threads. Now the brand is bringing that same positivity to summer.
With designs inspired by bunnies, lions, tigers, pandas, unicorns and even a triceratops, the swim range includes shorts, rashies, long sleeved one-piece swimmers and water-friendly legionnaire caps; all tied together in complementary colour schemes or there to be mixed and matched. Plus, an on-theme animal or dinosaur brandished backpack so they’re ready for whatever their next adventure holds.
All the pieces offer UPF 50+ ultra violet protection, with sun smart design at the heart of the collection. For us, the pick of the bunch has to be the adorable (and wearable) towels which are kitted out with snap button fastening to each side, a hood and a kangaroo-style front pocket to keep them warm, dry and cosy to, from and in-between swims.
