J. Lo is Receiving an Official Fashion Icon Award

Not that she wasn't already Queen of Style in our eyes...

Joining the likes of Naomi Campbell, Beyoncé, Rihanna and Pharrell Williams, Jennifer Lopez will be honoured as a Fashion Icon at this year’s CFDA Fashion Awards in June. Diane von Furstenberg, chairwoman of the Council of Fashion Designers of America, gave her seal of approval, “Jennifer Lopez uses clothes as a way to express confidence and power… Both designers and fans look forward to her fashion moments” and we couldn’t agree more.

She’s never afraid to push the boundaries.

Yet her everyday style is always relatable.

She even makes want a velour tracksuit (again).

Like a chameleon she can go straight from classic French sophistication…

…to bad and boujee with such ease.

She’s a strong advocate for animal print and makes it look so good we’re all now searching for opportunities to rock a leopard bodysuit.

She knows when to turn up the sex appeal and play with proportions.

And masters professional even in a white body-con dress.

She’s been our wardrobe inspo since the ‘90s, so this award seems more than fitting. The only question we have is, what will she wear to accept the award?
