The 70s are back in fashion and in beauty too, so we asked makeup artist Yen Hoang @yenmakeup_ to help translate the disco era into a mood-boosting modern day look.

Yen uses the Tan Lines, Sea Shells and Ultraviolet eyeshadows from the ICONIC London Sunset to Sunrise Palette for a bold burst of colour. Her tip: Use a firm brush to apply eyeshadow for intense colour payoff, then use a soft fluffy brush in gentle circular motions to blend and diffuse eyeshadow.
For added intensity, Yen applies a touch of Napoleon Perdis Loose Eye Dust to the inner corners of her eyes and a coating of Ere Perez Natural Almond Mascara. Her advice: Wet loose pigment using water or a mixing medium to create a metallic eyeshadow finish or use as an eyeliner, highlight or mix it into your lipgloss.
For her brows, Yen uses the Napoleon Perdis Fixated Brow Styling Soap to create a fluffy brow effect. Her beauty secret: Use the flat end of the spoolie brush to press and set your brows in place.
And to complete the look, Yen finishes with the Ere Perez ‘Fun’ Beetroot Cheek & Lip Tint. Her tip: A little goes a long way, so use a small amount and gradually build to your desired look, blending as you go as the product will set quicker than you think.
