How to Throw an EPIC 1st Birthday

1. Build a theme park for a day

While some of us had the grandparents round for a sponge cake, for Stormi Webster’s first trip around the sun, billionaire mum Kylie Jenner built her daughter a theme park. Going one better than your McDonalds party, #StormiWorld was complete with a Luna Park-esque entrance through the mouth of a giant, inflatable Stormi head, fairground rides and even a gift shop where you could pick yourself up some iconic Kardashian-Jenner merch.

2. Stop in at Buckingham Palace

For Victoria and David Beckham’s daughter Harper, only a bonafide princess party will do. Attended by actual Princess, Eugenie of York, of course. The littlest Beckham’s 6th birthday happened to fall on the same day as a tea party hosted by the royal family, luckily she packed her princess dress for photo ops.

3. Get hyped up on sugar

...even if it’s only for the ‘gram. Katie Holmes reportedly dropped a hefty $2500 on cupcakes alone and $5000 on the main cake for Suri’s birthday celebration, and even clean living Gwyneth Paltrow isn’t about to deny her little sweeties some sweeties, taking her and Chris Martin’s son Moses to Candytopia – a ‘sprawling sanctuary of confectionery bliss’  – for his birthday.

4. Go OTT on the gifts

We might have had dolls when we were kids, but you can bet they weren’t jewel-encrusted. 
Beyonce and Jay-Z reportedly gifted their firstborn an $80,000 diamond-studded Barbie when she turned one. NBD.
