Day 1
8am: Start the day at the classic Muscle Beach Venice, at Venice Beach, either people watching and a coffee (or protein shake) in hand, or actually working out in the same location as muscle machines Arnie and Larry Scott.

10am: Carry on the sweatfest at the famous Barry’s Bootcamp, Venice Beach, the largest Barry’s in the States. The infamous Barry’s ‘Red Room’ is a favourite of Kanye, David Beckham and Jake Gyllenhaal.
12pm: With your well-earned appetite head to the “vegetable slaughterhouse" that is the delicious plant-based restaurant The Butcher’s Daughter.
3pm: Go shopping at Caveman Vintage. Tucked away on Spring Street in Chinatown, this legendary store sells an amazing range of used vinyl, pro audio gear and you might also spot a celebrity muso or two.

6pm: Order a lamb and prime beef burger with sundried tomato aioli, crispy prosciutto, mozzarella and onion jam at Miro in the CBD, before heading downstairs to the whisky bar in the cellar for a stiff drink.
Day 2
9am: Grab a bacon and brie grilled cheese from Scrumptious Cafe Bakery (1111 N Hayworth Ave) just off Santa Monica Blvd, before walking it off in Runyon. Hike the well-worn trails, celeb spotting and trying not to pat every dog you see.
11.30am: Feel the need for speed and have the ultimate experience at Fontana, buy driving a Nascar or lamborghini. Just don’t crash it #insurancenightmare

3pm: After your auto-experience, soothe your aching arms with afternoon drinks and dinner at Blue Palms (bluepalmsbrewhouse.com) where you can find 24 beers on tap.
8pm: Book a table at Break Room 86 (breakroom86.com), a '80s-themed karoke bar hidden inside The Line Hotel in Koreatown. Expect lots of pink, neon and questionable singing.
