Help! We Can’t Stop Quoting These Adele Songs

Just like we can’t end April without singing “it’s gonna be May”, we only say “hello” the Adele way.

Can you really blame us though? The British singer-songwriter has blessed us with some seriously catchy tunes over the years, connecting with us through lyrics so deep that we can no longer speak the words like any normal person would, instead we deliver them in a sing-song way just like Adele (except way out of key).

We can't help it – they’re the type of songs you just want to belt out with nothing but raw emotion exposed, in the shower, in the car, every time at karaoke, and even just on a regular basis.

When we greet our work neighbours from over the desk partition it’s almost natural for us to bellow, “hello from the other side”.

Similarly, when we rock up to our friend’s place, instead of knocking on the door we kick it down with a welcoming, “hello from the outside”.

When we’ve got some juicy gossip to share it’s, “rumour has it” with our friends chiming in with an “oooh” at least five times on repeat before we actually spill the tea.

When we regrettably order only two scoops of gelato instead of the whole tub, we tearfully sing, “we could’ve had it all”.
