To our customers,
THE ICONIC is committed to assisting those affected by the Australian bushfire crisis with both immediate and long-term support.
To date that has been through a number of initiatives including:
- Financial support via ALL IN – we donated $100,000 to the ALL IN initiative in conjunction with the Australian Red Cross where collectively $780,000 was raised alongside over 50 Australian retailers
- THE ICONIC Drop-off Hubs – collection and storage of much-needed supplies on behalf of charity and wildlife welfare organisations
- Collaborating with our charity partner, Thread Together, to provide new clothing to those affected.
I was touched by those of you who reached out to me with your first-hand stories, feedback and your ideas on what else we can do to provide assistance to those in need for the difficult times ahead. I am also grateful to those who have taken the time to come in person to donate essential items to our Drop-off Hubs.
It has now been three weeks since I wrote to you announcing the above initiatives and I’d love to update you on the numbers behind our support to date, as well as let you know how THE ICONIC plans to continue our support over the coming months.

Whilst the progress of our combined results to date will help many, we also know there’s more that we can do. We are proud to announce the following continuing efforts:
DONATION HUBS – EXTENDED
Due to the overwhelming response to our Sydney Drop-off Hubs and knowing that the bushfire crisis is far from over, we will continue to accept donations with extended times, now Monday to Friday until the end of February (Friday 28). TAKING OUR BUSINESS ON THE ROAD
We are committed to supporting the people affected and the rebuilding of devastated communities, well beyond the point when bushfires are no longer headline news. The road to recovery will be long and challenging. To do this, we have taken a similar approach to our Drop-off Hubs – using the assets we have and the things we do best.
At THE ICONIC we aim to provide inspiring experiences not just through our customer journey but also through our beautiful campaign imagery. We are proud of our stunning Australian landscape so, where possible, we have committed to taking our upcoming photoshoots and campaigns on location to affected communities, to help the local businesses, smaller townships and bring awareness to those regions to support their revitalisation. Stay tuned to see the results of these shoots and stories celebrating our incredible Australian scenery, its people and our environment.
We will continue to provide updates of our initiatives managed by our dedicated Bushfire Relief volunteers across our business. As I wrote in my last email, our commitment will be continuous and endure for as long as our communities need our support.
