For anyone who has ever found themselves umming and ahhing over a purchase – maybe you need to buy a dress for a special occasion but can’t quite justify the cost per wear – we’ve got good news for you. THE ICONIC x AirRobe now makes it easier for you to shop more sustainably, extend the life of your preloved purchases, and make a little cash on the side.

What is THE ICONIC x AirRobe?

THE ICONIC has partnered with AirRobe, a second-hand fashion marketplace dedicated to extending the life cycle of fashion items. Through a new, easy-to-use feature on THE ICONIC, you can now add your ICONIC purchases directly to your Circular Wardrobe on AirRobe, making them immediately available for you to re-sell, rent or recycle, after you have loved and worn them.

How does it work?

When you’re shopping on THE ICONIC you’ll notice the AirRobe feature on all eligible apparel, shoes and certain accessories (some items are excluded for hygiene reasons, for example). When you find an item you like, while you add it to your bag, you can also add it to AirRobe. You can see the potential re-sell value, which is super handy, especially when you’re trying to justify spending on a big ticket item – who doesn’t want to get back some of the money they spent on the designer dresses that they’ve only worn a handful of times, or pairs of shoes that no longer spark joy?

Plus it’s the right thing to do for our environment. By extending the life of products we ensure that all the resources and raw materials that have been used to produce them remain in the system for as long as possible and maintain their value!

Once you’ve completed your purchase, the details of your selected items will be immediately transferred to your Circular Wardrobe on AirRobe. Your actual items will be delivered to you from THE ICONIC, as per usual and you still have the option to donate pre-loved quality items through our Giving Made Easy initiative, or return unworn items so long as they comply with our returns policy.

What’s the benefit of adding to AirRobe?

If you make the decision to re-sell or rent your preloved THE ICONIC purchase on AirRobe, all you need to do is update the condition of the item (e.g. if it’s been gently used) in your AirRobe account. That’s it. Everything else is already set up for you – that’s the beauty of THE ICONIC x AirRobe.
