Literally a week ago we were walking around in sleeveless dresses, arms exposed, soaking up the sun – it was even warm enough to enjoy a snorkel at the beach, and we’re so glad we did, because now it’s suddenly cold. Like freezing. Winter rolled up out of the blue so we’re looking for all kinds of ways to cover up.
Aside from adding a million more blankets to our bed, one of our favourite winter coping mechanisms is layering long-sleeved tops under dresses, jumpsuits, shirts and basically anything that’s not quite weighty enough for winter. Not only does it mean we can keep summer styles around for longer, but it gives us a chance to add a pop of colour and warmth to our existing wardrobe.
