6 Sneakers & The Pants To Wear Them With

Cause you’d look a little silly wearing just sneakers and underwear.

Had a couple hours spare at work so had little a game of match-making with sneakers and pants — the type of shoes and dacks combinations that you can chuck with your average white crew-neck t-shirt and go out into the world. Enjoy!

When we think of the PS by Paul Smith Ziggy sneakers, we think of a blossoming art director rolling up to his studio with a long black on a crisp Tuesday morning in Fitzroy. With that in mind, we think they’re a perfect match for the no-fuss, relaxed tailoring of a dark tapered pant.

Dad sneakers for the guy that’s into fashion, but dresses like it’s the 90’s and he’s not. Channel Seinfeld-normcore with chunky sneakers and light-wash, straight leg jeans. That’s  gold, Jerry.

White sneakers, but with individuality. For the guy who wears sneakers with his suits and owns both copies of The Sartorialist books. For all those spring occasions coming up, be that guy and wear your white kicks with a classic navy suit pant.

My old boss owned thirty pairs of sneakers and all of them looked a little something like this. He was a chinos kind of guy, and he would’ve rocked these Karhu Fusion 2.0’s with classic camel chino any day of the week.

Velcro. We get it. You’re a man that has no time for this “laces” nonsense, and that’s fine. Go full retro with this throwback silhouette teamed with a pair of track pants. Sporty vibes for a guy that’s going places fast.

You know what’s fun? Skating. You know what’s also fun? Looking like you skate. Either way, throw on the classic checkerboard sneakers and pair with these loose fitting utility trousers and dress like you do frontslides in your sleep.
