5 Jackets We're Completely Obsessed With

For this season (and the ones to come).

It's officially winter and while we have spent a couple of long months on the inside, it's now time to suit up appropriately and face the outside world. So, partly to work on our small talk and partly because we need help with finding the right jacket, we checked in with our Head Of Style Menswear, Danielle Soglimbene.

So, what should we be looking for in a jacket that will see us through the seasons?

"Going for good cut is a must," Soglimbene told us. "You want to shop with the intention not just to last the whole season, but for the seasons to come. Go for something that has quality and thought to the design."

And the brand top on her list? Norse Projects.

"Its minimalistic Scandinavian design can be crossed over with any style you are going for."

And how do you like to style a jacket so it feels fresh?

Keep it classic, she said. "Add pieces, layer it up."

Here's how...

Start at the top

A beanie, said Soglimbene, is perfect for cooler days and nights. "Try Norse Projects again," she tipped. "On trend, yes, but still understatedly masculine and cool."

"I do always love a nice sneaker for a day look or a boot is very in season at the moment ... plus, it will add a runway feel to your look."

Wear the pants

"The go-to pant to pull this look off would be a straight-cut clean simple cargo pant, like the ones by Bleu De Paname."
