3 Workwear Looks We’re Borrowing From Our Favourite Sitcoms

Some days we’re channelling Elaine Benes, but most days it’s Carrie Bradshaw.

Whenever we’re in need of style inspiration, rewatching our favourite TV shows always helps, and since we’re in lockdown, we’ve had plenty of time to go through the archives. Here are 3 of our favourites, and the best part, they involve staples that are probably already hiding in your wardrobe.

1.

Carrie Bradshaw’s belted boyfriend shirt in Sex and The City
The best option when you’re working from home and only have to dress from the desk up, not to mention the easiest to replicate (especially if you’ve snoozed through your alarm). The only problem – it’s a little too tempting to whip the belt off and hop back into bed once you’ve left the Zoom call.

2.

Elaine Benes’s shirt, blazer and jeans trifecta in Seinfeld
Workwear is evolving: think smart casual, but comfier, and this look is exactly that. The collared shirt adds character, the jeans are practical and versatile, and the blazer ties everything together.

3.

Rachel Green’s boss boots in Friends
If we were heading to drinks after work on a Friday evening this would 100% be our 9-5 look – just add a pop of colour to our lip and we’re ready. But since we’re in Sydney and in lockdown, we’ll just have to schedule a special Zoom with our closest work pals to give these boots the attention they deserve.

Fast delivery – free over $50 – and free returns.
