Hot Date: Soft Smokey Eye
If you have a Valentine to celebrate with this year, why not switch up your typical date night beauty look for something sultry like a soft smokey eye. After all, it is the holiday of love. Start by blending a mid-toned neutral shade all over your lids, then blend a darker matte shade in your crease and the outer corners of your eyes. The trick is to keep blending the darker shade out until there are no harsh lines. Next, blend a pencil liner (chocolate or brown shades are best if you’re a smokey eye novice) along your lash line and smoke it out with a small eye makeup brush. Finish the look by applying a light shade of eyeshadow with a hint of shimmer to your inner corners, your brow bone and the centre of your eyelids to really accentuate your soft smokey eye. Add a few slicks of mascara and you’re ready for your hot date.

Girls Night: A Pop Of Pink
If you’re celebrating Galentine’s style this year, a mood-boosting makeup look will instantly have you feeling the love. A soft pink monochromatic look is the perfect choice for Valentine’s Day. It’s flattering on almost anyone and it’s incredibly quick and easy to apply. All you need is a lip and cheek tint or cream blush in a bright or dusty pink shade. Simply blend the product onto lips, cheeks and eyes, and that’s it!

Solo Date Night: Self-Care And Mask
Plans (and Valentine’s for that matter) are always optional on Valentine’s Day. Sometimes the best nights are spent at home in loungewear, treating yourself to a night of self-care with chocolate and a face mask. For the ultimate at-home mask night, start by deep cleansing with a facial cleansing device before using an ice facial device to reduce inflammation. Then, try one of these face masks:
For congestion and enlarged pores: Kora Organics Turmeric Brightening Exfoliating Mask
For dry skin: Aceology Green T. Infusion Gel Mask
For dull skin: Filorga Meso-Mask Smoothing Radiance Mask
For sensitive skin: endota sensitive oatmeal relief face mask
For tired eyes: Wrinkles Schminkles' InfuseFast Eye Sheet Mask
