He may have debuted as the aggressive Sack Lodge in Wedding Crashers, played the narcissistic playboy Phil in The Hangover and the alcoholic country artist Jackson Maine in A Star Is Born, but Bradley Cooper IRL is quite the opposite.
Aside from being ridiculously talented (and good-looking) here’s some of the other reasons why he’s our Man Crush #468.

When he falls in love, he falls hard. He is 100% committed when he’s in a relationship, claiming “when I’m into a woman, I literally can’t stop staring. I become completely entranced.”
He’s not afraid to show his true emotions. During an interview on Inside The Actors Studio he broke down in tears when he caught a glimpse of his old acting teacher (and mentor during his most trying times) sitting in the audience.

He likes to get creative in the kitchen. He once confessed, when he was on a strict meal plan for the movie The A-Team, “I would like cut a grape in half and I would put an almond inside, you know, to make a little sandwich. It was my big treat…” OK, so it’s not our kind of “treat” but we like that he sees the good in every situation.
He’s sentimental and wears his heart on his sleeve, or should we say ring on his finger… In an interview, he revealed that the only jewellery he wears is his dad’s ring, “When he was dying, I took his ring and I put it right on my finger and swore, “I’m never taking it off.””

He knows how to compliment a lady. We’ve all heard what Lady Gaga had to say about him after filming A Star Is Born together, but here’s just a few of the many sweet things he had to say about her:
“I remember every single moment of it. From the moment she walked down the stairs, it was one of those magical things.” (To ET, September 9)
“I don’t believe that she’s acting refined, I think she’s just being real. She’s incredible. Her willingness to put the work in — I postponed the movie two months just so she and I could work on our characters together. She’s very busy. Her willingness to put all that work in — Thank God!” (To Variety’s Playback podcast, November 29)
“I love her so deeply. It’s because we were at our most vulnerable together.” (To Time, October 8)
Wish Bradley Cooper was as obsessed with you as he is with his co-star? Same.
