A Men’s Fashion Moment: Your Guide To Elevated Spring Style

Arriving an hour after the party starts isn’t the end of the world, but when it comes to men’s fashion, fashionably late simply doesn’t cut it. Cruise into any and all of your spring occasions with an air of confidence buoyed in equal measure by style and comfort. A forever favourite, spring denim sees lighter washes emerge from the black and indigo shadows of winter. Easily paired with light or dark colours and your preferred footwear (from sneakers to sandals or dress shoes), jeans are an inevitable favourite for transeasonal wear. Just as you can with your choice of footwear, your top half can also effortlessly dress up or down your go-to jeans with spring shirting, tees, polos and light layers all great for setting the tone of your outfit. 

Paying closer attention to shirting, we’re steering towards light and airy fabrics that will help you keep your cool during the day, and provide that little bit of extra coverage after dark. Natural fibres like linen and cotton are ideal for a hot day but that doesn't mean you should be afraid to mix it up if that silky smooth shirt you've got your eye on isn't 100% silk. In more exciting news, asymmetrical prints and patchwork are back again this season while button-down collars are still cool and the 70s style revival of camp and cuban collars continues to provide a fun point of difference for weekend wear. 

We’ve already harped on about the benefits of how great, lightweight and breathable linen shirts are, and the same can be said for linen shorts and pants. Despite painting a picture of relaxation, if you’re not someone who trusts themselves with a pair of linen pants (believe us, we understand), lightweight fatigues, cargos and chinos are all great alternatives for spring! 

When it comes to finishing touches, we are generally getting dressed for fun in the sun through spring and so new-season sunglasses and headwear are essential in our books.
